What size should a Facebook cover photo be?
Facebook displays Page and Profile covers at 820×312 pixels on desktop and roughly 640×360 pixels on mobile. Group covers display at 1640×856, and Event covers at 1920×1005.
Why does the middle of my cover photo look cropped on phones?
Facebook crops covers differently on desktop and mobile. Keeping important content — faces, text, logos — centered in the middle of the image helps it survive both crops.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
