Frequently asked questions
What size should an Instagram post be?
Instagram feed posts commonly use a square 1080×1080, a portrait 1080×1350 (4:5), or a landscape 1080×566 (1.91:1) frame. Portrait tends to take up the most screen space in the feed.
Should I crop my photo or keep the whole thing?
Turning off "Fill frame" keeps every pixel of your original photo and adds letterboxing if the aspect ratio doesn't match. Turning it on crops the photo to exactly fill the target size with no bars.
Which format should I export as?
JPG is the smallest file size and works well for most photos. Use PNG if your image has transparency or sharp graphics/text. WebP offers a good balance of quality and file size.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?

Will resizing reduce my photo's quality?
